Profile of Stella

I'm a swing dancing, rock climbing, mountain biking, nature girl at heart, but a combination of difficulties has made my path a very challenging one. I'm on the road to some kind of recovery after Lyme disease (you get it from a tick bite) stole my life for a number of years. A difficult upbringing has left some after effects, for a challenging journey. Though I'm a work in progress, I have a flame in me that has not been extinguished, despite that I live with strong fatigue and my journey has taken a toll on me. I'm an intelligent, resourceful, fun loving, compassionate, tenacious woman seeking a male muse to rendezvous with on my road back to recovery.

My days are filled with taking care of myself and also helping friends in need, when I am able. I take people to medical appointments or grocery shopping and this gives me a lot of joy and meaning to give what I can and contribute in ways I am able. I can't wait to get back to being a volunteer mediator with kids and their families as my health keeps improving, as it has been. Very simple things give me a lot of pleasure.

I'm often a bit of a home body at this point, though I also love running errands (yes, strangely I do), short outings, and soaking up the sunshine in the park. My politics tend to be left of center though I'm not as involved as I'd like to be. I want a long term relationship, but Stella's just getting her groove back as I've been out of commission a long time, so I'm also interested in dating for a while to discover what I want, who I am, and what works. I'm in search of someone with a heart, integrity, and introspection to match my own. Looking for someone about 35 - 50 who might have a similar condition or be adaptable to my situation.
